Working Wednesday

One of the many reasons why we love working in Downtown Cleveland.

It feels like just yesterday that the blizzard was moving across our part of the country, turning Downtown Cleveland into a winter wonderland. You know what they say, “Don’t like the weather? Wait a day!” It’s always a nice surprise to be a bundled up one day, and then have the next day be one where the sun is shining and you’re almost looking for any excuse to step outside.

Today is one of those days, that’s for sure. The sun is shining, the snow is melting, and Downtown workers are all over the place enjoying the weather — don’t you love when it feels like April in January?!

One of the many great things about working Downtown is that it is easy to slip outside to enjoy the wonderful weather when it’s here. Since it’s not too cold, you could go for a short walk during your lunch break, or walk somewhere outside to get lunch. If you have a meeting with a colleague, schedule it at a coffee shop and enjoy the walk there.  It helps clear your mind for a couple of minutes, plus it’s always nice to get some exercise during the day.

Usually in January, a nice, hot drink is the cure to warm up. That large cappuccino, yea, we know all about that.  However, today may be the day to get a cold one — don’t worry, we’re talking about a cold one that is work-day appropriate. Saigon on East 4th has phenomenal bubble tea, as pictured below. For a while there, it was really difficult to find bubble tea in Northeast Ohio, but now it is right in our backyard — and this isn’t just your everyday drink. Trust us, it’s a must try.
