Dogs in dtCLE

Overlooking the beautiful greenspace at North Coast Harbor

Downtown Cleveland is home to 12,000 residents, with more and more making plans to move into the city each and every day. Of those 12,000 residents, many are owners of dogs big and small who love to roam the streets of Cleveland.

Our Downtown has abundant greenspace, giving dog owners a wide variety of parks to take their pups out to play. Need to take Spike for an after-work stroll? Downtown Cleveland was recently nicknamed a Walker’s Paradise by Walk Score.

From the shores of North Coast Harbor to the lush grass of Perk Park, there are plenty of opportunities for you and Fido to have a fabulous afternoon filled with Frisbee and sunshine.

Even as the Cleveland Winter rolls in, in Downtown, you don’t have to walk far to enjoy precious time with your pup.

Our friends at Cosmic Bobbins have generously donated a gift basket full of treats for your dogs and a little something special for you, the owner. To find a winner for this great prize, we’re hosting a contest to see how much your pets love Downtown! All you have to do is take your pet outside to one of Downtown’s many spots, snap a pic and share it with us on social media using the hashtag #dogsindtCLE. We’ll be looking for your photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Not a social media user? That’s ok – send your pictures to us at

Best photos will be shared and one winner will be announced on December 9th.
